The school is situated on a property just 9 blocks south of the Cathedral and central town square of Puebla. It is located on a “privada” street, which means it is a non-continuous street — the foot/car traffic is less and thus the overall noise is less as well. That said, this is Mexico and noise is synonymous with every street in the country, where vendors call out selling gas, tamales, potting soil, among many other things, cars with sometimes loud mufflers may pass by, an alarm may go off randomly, the church bells ring a block away, all of which might make dogs bark in reaction. The best idea is to embrace it and for nighttime bring a set of comfortable ear plugs if you want some peace and quiet.

Offsetting this, and bringing charm and whim into the mix is that within walking distance of the school are restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets, cafés, produce markets, arts and crafts shops, more than 2600 historically archived and protected buildings and monuments, Talavera ceramic workshops, museums, parks, ice cream shops, bars, theaters, lucha libre freestyle Mexican wrestling arena, movie theaters, shopping malls, and the list goes on and on.

At the school property we have one En-Suite Room at the front of the property and a 1 or 2-bedroom condo unit available 2 blocks from the school. 

 

 

Guest En-suite room with kitchenette and patio terrace

The room is located at the front of the property on the second floor. It has its own independent staircase, terrace patio with chairs and table, and entrance. A lot of light flows into the windows and sliding glass door that make up the front of the room. The room has a private bathroom and kitchenette with microwave oven, small fridge, sink, coffee maker and plates/glasses and basic kitchen utensils. There is no cooktop or other amentities in the kitchenette. Roku TV, WiFi high-speed Internet, hot water 24/7, bed and bath linens and cleaning service is included.

One or Two-Bedroom Condo 

The condo is located on the ground floor in a tranquil condo complex, just 2 blocks from the school, less than a 5-minute walk.  It can be rented as a one-bedroom or a two-bedroom unit.  It’s ideal for someone wanting a little more space, couples, or two friends that want shared accommodations near the school. 

There’s a large living room, dining room, full kitchen and a small service patio with a wash basin.  When renting as a one-bedroom, there’s an en-suite room with a very comfortable queen bed and private bathroom.   As a two-bedroom unit, there’s another full bathroom and bedroom also with a very comfortable queen bed.  The water system is pressurized and there’s plenty of hot water. The kitchen has a stovetop, sink, microwave oven, fridge, coffee maker and plates/glasses and basic kitchen utensils, TV with local channels and Roku for subscription channels, WiFi high-speed Internet, hot water 24/7, bed and bath linens and cleaning service is included.
