]]> Learning Spanish means exploring the cultural sites too! Every Thursday after classes we head out in a different direction on an incredible excursion. The sites include Cholula, Atlixco, Tecali, Ex-hacienda de Chautla, Tlaxcala, San Andres Calpan, Cantona and other areas depending on the season. The course explores the Spanish language and Mexican culture through a special seasonal program during one of Mexico’s most captivating and decorative traditions, El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The traditions of this celebration are chock-full of colors and traditional artwork. During the course, students will participate in Spanish language classes at Livit Immersion Center and experience both urban and rural traditions during this holiday.
