Oct. 30 – Nov. 2, 2017.
The course will explore the Spanish language and Mexican culture through a special seasonal program during one of Mexico’s most captivating and decorative traditions, El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The traditions of this celebration are chock-full of colors and traditional artwork. During the course, students will participate in Spanish language classes at Livit Immersion Center and see local art using papier mâché and papel picado among other Mexican art techniques. Participants have the option of staying with a local host family to experience the family customs during this special time of the year.
