Day of the Dead Nov. 1-2
The course explores the Spanish language and Mexican culture through a special seasonal program during one of Mexico’s most captivating and decorative traditions, El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The traditions of this celebration are chock-full of colors and traditional artwork. During the course, students will participate in Spanish language classes at Livit Immersion Center and experience both urban and rural traditions during this holiday. Participants have the option of staying with a local host family to experience the family customs during this special time of the year. We also have 2 independent on-site accommodations and students can opt to stay at a hotel or other location.
